JMC Corporator Sharda Kumari distributes Mobilization Advance Cheques to BLC beneficiaries under PMAY (U) Mission through H&UDD
JAMMU, Oct 21: JMC Corporator Sharda Kumari on Tuesday distributed Mobilization Advance Cheques to BLC (with the amount of Rs 41,000/) beneficiaries of Ward-47 under Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana (Urban) PMAY (U) Mission through the officials of Housing and Urban Development Department (H&UDD) Jammu on the concluding day of the government’s ‘My Town My Pride’ programme at Prade Ground Jammu.
While speaking about the programme, Corporator Sharda Kumari said that this is an endeavor by the J&K UT govt. to connect with public and address issues faced by them. She added that different government departments are providing information to the participants regarding the measures being taken by the govt. for their welfare and upliftment.
Corporator Sharda Kumari further appreciated the mass participation of people in this programme and urged upon the people to participate in such kind of programmes for raising and redressal of their demands and problems.
She added that the government is committed to bring governance to the doorstep that is why programmes like B2V and My Town My Pride have been started in UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
The officials of H&UDD Jammu in their address stressed on the public to ensure their registration in various welfare oriented Government Schemes so that 100% saturation of these schemes is achieved. They further added that people should associate themselves with plan formulation at the local level which is the sole motto of participative governance.
