COVID19: Home Quarantine Violators fined by administration Kishtwar.

In order to check further spread of COVID19 and on the direction of District Magistrate Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara, today One passenger vehicle Driver namely Anis Malik S/o Ghulam Ali R/O Dugga Kishtwar bearing no JK17-3751 has been fined Rs 2000 for violating home Quarantine rules.
Pertinent to mention here that People not following the guidelines of home quarantine increase the possibility of spread of infection, hence administration has decided to impose a fine of Rs 2,000 on first-time violators of home quarantine norms in order to check further spread of the Coronavirus in the district. And If found violating again, they will be sent to the quarantine centre immediately.
Another two persons (Drivers) namely Iqhlaq Ahmed S/o Ghulam Rasool R/O Mandri Kishtwar bearing vehicle no JK17-1877 has been fined Rs 200 for overloading and Vikram Sharma S/O Nand Lal R/O Dedpeth Kishtwar bearing vehicle no JK 06-1432 has been fined Rs 300 for overloading and not maintaining social distance.
A total sum of Rs 2500 has been realised from a different person for breach of protocol by Duty magistrate Thathri Nakka (Naib Tehsildar Drabshalla) Ahsan Ahmed Zargar during checking at Naka Thathri.
District administration stressed upon all the vehicle drivers to adhere to COVID19 protocol by following the guidelines like the use of face mask, maintain social distancing in the vehicles in letter and spirit.
Further observance of the “odd-even formula” is also advised by the administration to all the vehicle drivers, failing to which one will be dealt in strictly.
