Jammu 22-06-2020:- Er. Rishi Kaul Kilam thanked the Nationalist Youth Farmers Organization for assigning him the responsibility of President JKUT and showed confidence and trust on him.
Er.Rishi while commenting said that the new responsibility has given me a chance of serving the farmers by raising their genuine issues and burning problems which they face and crop up in their farming.
Er.Rishi Kaul Kilam while thanking the farmers community said that real India lives in villages and it is the efforts of our farmers who keep the whole world alive with their food production.
It is our utmost duty and obligation to think about their problems and issues,their grievances should be redressed with sympathy and justice as they still live a hard and poor life.
Er.Rishi added that the government should come up with a concrete agriculture policy and once for all remove lucna with the system.
Er.Rishi added that in the year 2017 34,000 Crore was proposed for farmers by the government but like other falls promises it was not implemented.
Er.Rishi said that our Nationalist youth farmers organization wants and demands immediate concern attention of the government for remunerative prices for their produce and debt freedom.
It is ironic and shameful that three lakh farmers committed suicide till now but government ignores the tragedy.
Er.Rishi urged the SKUAST JKUT to work honestly and with dedication for the genuine cause of our farmers and not to work in theory only as there are grievances on the ground level against them.
The farmers are not being provided good quality of seed and other benefits in time.
