SRINAGAR, MARCH 21: Minister of State for Hajj & Auqaf Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi has felicitated the people on the annual Urs of first caliph, Hazrat Abu Bakar-e-Sidiq (RA) to be observed on March 22.
The Minister today reviewed the arrangements put in place by the Wakf Board for the annual Urs.
The officials of J&K Waqaf board gave a detailed briefing to the Minister about arrangements made in and around the Ziyarats of Hazratbal, Jenab Sahib Soura, Aasar Sharief Kailashpora, Kabamarg Anantnag, Aham Sharief Bandipora and Makhama Beerwah.
The Minister asked the Wakf Board officials and departments concerned to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply besides launching proper sanitation drive around the shrines to facilitate the devotees. He also directed SRTC to provide hassle free transport services to the people.
