The incarcerated chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah has expressed deep grief over the killing of two youth Zahid Rasheed and Saqib Ahmad by “barbaric” occupational forces in Chadoora area of Budgam and injuring of dozens others.
In a statement Shah while condemning the incident said forces without any provocation opened fire on peaceful protesters and killed two of them.
“This is a war against the people of Kashmir. In the garb of AFSPA, the brutal forces are playing with the lives of people. The incident is a big slap on the face of those maintaining criminal silence over the barbaric actions of forces in Kashmir,” he said.
Expressing condolence and solidarity with the families of the martyred youth, Shah reiterated that the blood of martyrs won’t be allowed go waste. He appealed to people to protest against the ongoing oppression in the Valley.
Meanwhile, Shabir Ahmad Shah reiterated his election boycott appeal saying the people have to give a befitting reply to collaborators and make it clear to world that Kashmiris are seriously concerned of their political future.
