On the initiative taken by Assistant Professor Vishally Sharma (Mathematics), Assistant Professor Ankush Raj (Computer Science) and Dr Jamsheed Ahmad (English) Internal Quality Assurance Cell GDC Doda organised an Extension Lecture on 1st April 2017. Prof Shayan Javeed from the Institute of Mountain Environment University of Jammu (Baderwah Campus) was the resource person and the topic of the lecture was ‘General Economics: An Overview’. Dr RK Raina Principal GDC Doda was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The programme started with welcome address by Vishally Sharma Convenor IQAC. Prof Javeed had a very interactive session with the students and touched various important issues like Parallel Economics, GDP and Demonetisation.
Dr RK Raina in his address stressed upon the staff to organise such events in future which may benefit students. He assured that he would provide full support and guidance.
Later on vote of thanks was presented by Dr Jamsheed Ahmad with a pledge that he would organise various academic and non- academic activities in future.
All the teaching, non-teaching faculty and around two hundred students were present on the occasion.
