    Geelani concerned over the growing cross border terrorist attacks in Pakistan

    Srinagar. March 07: APHC chairman, Syed Ali Geelani expressed his deep concern over the growing cross border terrorist attacks in Pakistan and accused neighbouring countries of harbouring fighters seeking to destabilize this country. It is very strange that Afghanistan is being used as a launching pad to accomplish their evil designs, said Syed Ali Geelani.

    Referring to war torn Arabian Peninsula and African countries, Syed Ali Geelani said that western powers and Jewish lobbies have started blood game there and are desperate to endorse same bloodshed in Pakistan .

    Tuesday, Syed Ali Geelani expressed his deep grief over the loss of human lives in a terrorist attack on border territory Mehmind and said that killing of innocents inflict a deep pain and particularly it is more disheartening to see that parties to the conflict belong to same faith.

    It is unbearable and we are in tears, said Geelani and in his appeal to leaders of Pakistan, Afghanistan & Iran asked to make an end of these hostilities, sort out their differences amicably and form a united front against divisive forces. We hope this problem will end through the work by diplomatic addresses,” said, Geelani.

    Referring to Pakistan, Syed Ali Geelani said that country is a backbone and a final resort for Muslim world and being a nuclear country in Muslim block, is a sore for anti-Muslims, hence are feeling perturbed and anxious. They are trying to destabilize this country, said Syed Ali Geelani while referring to anti Muslim attitude of some neighbouring powers.

    They have shifted their activities towards Afghanistan, said Syed Ali Geelani and this country while harbouring these elements is being used as launching pad for divisive activities against Pakistan.

    Recalling Russian invasion against Afghanistan, Syed Ali Geelani said that it was Pakistan that came to the rescue & saved this country from disintegration and provided every sort of help and assistance. Pakistan provided shelter to 40 lakh Afghanis, said Syed Ali Geelani.

    Pakistan is facing many complicated issues, pro-freedom leader said & added that cross border terrorism is taking heavy toll on Pakistan & this country is paying the price for its kind approach towards Afghanis. Pakistan has turned a safe haven for these terrorists and crime graph in Pakistan has gone up, said Syed Ali Geelani.

    Syed Ali Geelani while deploring the terrorist activities in Pakistan, said that in view the support provided by Pakistan to its neighbouring country against Russian invasion, it was desirable to desist supporting terrorist elements, however it is quite reverse and anti-Pakistan elements are being provided every support to destabilize this country.

    It is a moral binding on Afghanistan to cooperate with Pakistan against these terrorist groups, said Syed Ali Geelani & impressed Pakistan to concentrate and take effective measures to eradicate this menace from its soil.

    Syed Ali Geelani while taking dig at ignorant elements and said they are sowing the seeds of hatred & indifference among various school of thoughts. Syed Ali Geelani urged religious parties to cooperate state machinery for eradication of this menace
