GGF J&K organises 61st Covid-19 Relief Camp at Village Jhonu, Udhampur.
Today, Gandhi Global Family J&K organised an overall 61st Covid-19 relief camp and it was 17th medical camp in collaboration with Directorate of Indian Systems of Medicines (AYUSH) J&K and distributed immunity boosting drugs supplied by ISM for free distribution to the general public through their expert team of doctors at Village Jhonu where people from Barta, Dhanal, East and West Panchayats also participated and took the benefit of Camp.
220 people were examined by ISM Medical staff deputed by Dr. Sanjay Raina- ADMO, Udhampur. Dr. Shamim Choudhary- Medical Officer, Mr. Sunil Bogal- Yoga Therapist, Shri Puran Chand Sharma- Pharmacist and Shri Rohit Gupta- Pharmacist represented ISM.
General Bagh Singh Trust Chairman Kanwar Joginder Singh and Kanwar Ruder Pratap Singh made local arrangements.
Sachin Sharma, Brighu Sharma, Ayush Khajuria, Akshit Sharma, Kotlya Baru, Raja Aftab and Raja Nadeem represented GGF Udhampur and assisted ISM for successful conduct of the Covid19 Medical cum Awareness Camp.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Doctors of ISM by examining over 90 years old Thakur Gandharab Singh.
GGF J&K President Padmashri Dr S P Varma expressed his gratitude to Dr. Mohan Singh, Director ISM and Dr. Sanjay Raina, ADMO for deputing competent team of doctors and providing free AYUSH medicines for immunity boosting of people of far flung areas of Udhampur District. He was all praise for local trust under the name, Genenal Bagh Singh headed by his Grandson Kanwar Joginder Singh and Kanwar Ruder Pratap Singh for providing local support. He has also appreciated the role of Shri Sachin Sharma, GGF co-ordinator and his team.
Among the prominent locals present on the occasion were Shri Suram Chand Vaid- Sarpanch, Shri Sansar Chand and Shri Bishan Chand- Naib Sarpanch, Captain Devi Dass, Captain Balbir Singh Manhas, Shri Usaf Din, Shri Kuldeep Kumar and Shri Suraj Prakash.
Overall the GGF 61st relief camp was dedicated to General Bagh Singh who remained on the position for several years under the regime of Maharaja Pratap Singh, of erstwhile kingdom of Jammu & Kashmir. He hailed from village Johnu in Udhampur.
