New Delhi, March 14: Rohit Shetty directed his first film, Zameen, in Bollywood in 2003. By 2012, till Bol Bachchan, he had directed eight films and all of them had Ajay Devgn in the lead.
In 2013, he drifted towards Shah Rukh Khan and delivered the most commercially successful film of his career with Chennai Express. Though he made Singham Returns with Ajay Devgn in 2014, all eyes were on his next with Shah Rukh, Dilwale.
Dilwale became one of the biggest flops of 2015 and Shetty’s interviews gave enough hints that all is not well between him and King Khan.
And now, one of the most successful Bollywood directors, is back with Golmaal 4, his next in the line of Golmaal franchise that made him a force to reckon with.
Devgn released the first look of Golmaal 4 on Tuesday: The grand star-cast of the film also includes Tabu, an actor known for her serious films.
Golmaal 4 will have all the usual suspects who made previous Golmaals such a laugh riot: Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu and Shreyas Talpade. Parineeti Chopra, who will be replacing Kareena Kapoor Khan, is the latest entry to the franchise.
The release date of Golmaal 4 hasn’t been announced yet.
