Udhampur, 27 April: Govt. Degree college, Chenani under the Manodarpan Initiative of MHRD, Govt. of India and under the auspices of The Cell for celebration of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ organised a “Placement Cell Activity” on 27 April 2021 on the theme “Identifying Successful Entrepreneurs and their Achievements”.
The programme was aimed to create awareness and inspiration among the students so that they can learn from studying the lives of successful entrepreneurs in order to become the budding entrepreneurs of tomorrow to shape their future. Since entrepreneurship is now moving beyond the confines of metropolitan cities and finding its way into tier two and tier three cities of the country. The students discussed the life sketches of successful entrepreneurs from J&K.
Dr. Pragya Khanna principal GDC, Chenani stated that entrepreneurship is regarded as the cornerstone for the economy of a nation. It is a catalyst for the provision of jobs to the unemployed individuals and thus serving as a means for economical uplift in any society. She said acknowledging and developing interest in entrepreneurial skills among the students would lead to economic growth.
The event was organised by Prof. Mir Hafeez and Ms. Manya Gupta.
