Govt Hospital Sarwal ranked best performing empanelled Hospital
JAMMU, APRIL 26: Government Hospital Sarwal Jammu has been ranked as best performing government hospital empanelled under the flagship government scheme AB-PMJAY.
Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Anshul Garg handed over the award to the Medical Superintendent Government Hospital Sarwal Dr. Harbaksh Singh in his office chamber, here today.
The selection of the hospital was made by the National Health Authority.
Pertinently, Government Hospital Sarwal Jammu has added many new facilities for the patient care such as digital x-ray, emergency room, oxygen generation plant, besides a full fledged effluent treatment plant to avoid water pollution.
Government Hospital Sarwal was the only designated Non-Covid hospital for the last two years catering to the needs of the patients during the difficult COVID times. Nearly 2.50 lakh patients were provided services during last two years.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the Administration, Doctors, nurses, para-medical and other staff members of the hospital for their outstanding performance and dedication shown towards the human services.
