Srinagar, Jul 17 : The government on Monday sacked three more employees including Public Relations Officer of Kashmir University under Article 311 for alleged militant links.
“The Lieutenant Governor is satisfied after considering the facts and circumstances of the case and on the basis of the information available, that the activities of Mr. Faheem Aslam, Public Relations Officer (PRO) in the University of Kashmir S/o Mohammad Aslam R/o 166, Hazratbal, Srinagar are such as to warrant his dismissal from service,” reads a government order, a copy of which lies with GNS.
“The Lieutenant Governor is satisfied under sub-clause (c) of the proviso to clause (2) of Article 311 of the Constitution of India that in the interest of the security of the State, it is not expedient to hold an enquiry in the case of Faheem Aslam, Public Relations Officer
(PRO) in the University of Kashmir S/o Mohammad Aslam R/o 166, Hazratbal, Srinagar.”
Accordingly, the the Lieutenant Governor dismisses Mr. Faheem Aslam, Public Relations Officer (PRO) in the University of Kashmir S/o Mohammad Aslam R/o 166, Hazratbal, Srinagar from service, with immediate effect.”
Similar worded order was passed against Murawath Hussain Mir, Wasil Baqi Navees in Revenue Department, Son of Gh. Mohd Mir of Frestabal, Pampore, District Pulwama and Arshid Ahmad Thoker, Constable in the J&K Police, Son of Mohammad Rafiq Thoker of Shadab Karewa, Manloo, District Shopian.
