Jammu, July 19: IGP Jammu Zone, Dr S D Singh, accompanied by SSP Jammu Sunil Gupta visited border areas of Jammu district to review the security situation after intelligence inputs regarding possible infiltration of terrorists from across IB/LoC.
The IGP visited Police Post Pouni Chack, Border Police Post Kirpalpur, Police Post Gajansoo, Police Station Kanhachak, Border Police Post Garkhal, P/S Akhnoor, Police Post Jourian, and Police Post Pallanwalla.
IGP asked officers that all routes leading to National Highway from border areas be plugged and ensure that the nefarious designs of anti-national elements be defeated.
