Udhampur, 26 June: Continue its drive against illicit liquor, Udhampur police recovered 20 litres of lahan and 03 litres of desi illicit liquor at village Jungle Gali, under the jurisdiction of PP Tikri.
Acting on specific information regarding the manufacturing of illicit liquor, police team headed by Incharge PP Tikri Inspector Jaswinder Singh, under the supervision of SHO PS Rehambal and Sahil Mahajan DySP Hqrs. Udhampur, conducted raids in the house of Ravi Kumar son of Gian Chand of Jungle Gali, Tikri.
During the raids, Police recovered 20 litres of illicit liquor and around 03 litres of desi prepared illicit liquor from his house.
In this regard, a case FIR under section 48(e) Excise Act has been registered at PS Rehambal and investigation started by police.
