Udhampur, July 18: The reports of widespread corruption and irregularities continue to pour in from Tehsil Ramnagar. The residents of the area have accused one Junior assistant of tehsil Ramnagar Mohd Javid Iqbal of demanding bribes for issuing  any type of certificate or any other document. The local residents said that Mohd Javid Iqbal a Junior Assistant at tehsil office is charging money from the people having any type of official work. A resident if the area while talking to our reporter said that he has been avoiding him in granting income certificate only to compel him to pay the bribe. When our reported contacted the said clerk to verify the details,the clerk told him that the income certificate to the applicant will be issued when the clerk desires. When the reporter told him that he will bring the matter into the notice of SDM, the clerk replied that he bother least about complaints. The other residents of the area also raised such issues pertaining to the said clerk. After contacting SDM, he assured of action. The people have demanded immediate shifting of Mohd Javid from tehsil office Ramnagar and handing over the charge to an honest official.
