INDIAN ARMY DISTRIBUTES MASKS AND SANITIZERS IN BHADERWAH, DISTRICT DODA (J&K)

As part of welfare activities the Army is regularly undertaking a variety of projects for the welfare of local population. The Rashtriya Rifles unit in Bhaderwah has distributed masks and sanitizers to local population in Marmat Bowl.
Marmat Bowl is deprived of basic amenities and medical facilities. Majority of the population here resides in rural areas with highly restricted access to essential hygiene items.
The event was conducted in Marmat Bowl in presence of Sarpanches of Goha, Parbal, Sarak, Lower Bihota & Bari. N95 masks without filters and sanitizers were distributed to 400 indls incl 310 Men , 60 Women and 30 Children of Guha, Parbal, Sarak, Lower Bihota and Bari villages. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Parvez Ahmed thanked the Indian Army for such humane endeavour in wake of COVID 19 pandemic and stated that such people friendly efforts by the Army will have long lasting impact on populace and motivate youth to channelise their energy in the right direction for nation building activities
