Srinagar, May 26: Four militants were killed in a gunfight with the Indian Army on the Line of Control (LoC) after an infiltration bid was foiled early on Saturday.
An official said that operation was launched in north Kashmir border area of Tanghdar, the village of Karnah tehsil of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district, which is still in progress.
Four militants were killed who were attempting to infiltrate early morning today, the official added, adding that ceasefire violations have been reported on other posts of LoC Karnah also.
