Poonch, Apr 23: The armies of India and Pakistan on Sunday traded fire and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, said an official.
The indiscriminate firing and shelling started in Krishna Ghati sector around 6:20 pm, he said.
The official said Pakistani army targeted Indian posts with small arms and automatics in the sector. “The Indian army was retaliating effectively and strongly,” he said.
