JKNPP leadership expressed deep anguish over early unexpected and unbelievable demise of Senior Advocate Bhupinder Singh Salathia in the wee hours today, at PGI Chandigarh, after brief internal problem.
An emergent condolence meeting was held ‘Online Video Conference’ at Party Headquarters Jammu leadership of Prof. Bhim Singh, Senior Advocate Supreme Court of India and Chief Patron of J&K National Panthers Party. Floral tributes were paid to the departed colleague and Sr. Advocate who was elected President of the J&K Bar Association Jammu several times. Two minutes silence was observed in honour of the departed noble soul.
Prof. Bhim Singh expressed shock on unexpected, unbelievable & shocking demise of Sr. Advocate Bhupinder Singh Salathia. Hundreds of his friends and admirers conveyed their heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the family members of departed soul.
Prof Bhim Singh recalled his personal association with Salathia when he (Salathia) Law Student & Bhim Singh was teacher of Law in Jammu University. Salathia also associated with All India Students Congress as youth leader, which was then headed by Bhim Singh.
Bhim Singh and other senior leaders described Mr. Bhupinder Singh Salathia as superb lawyer and a humanist, who never compromised his secular credentials and fought for justice from the streets to the Courts of law from J&K to the Supreme Court of India. He led many agitations from the platform of the Bar Association for genuine rights of the neglected people.
