‘Pistol, Magazine, handgrenade, 04 rounds recovered from his possession’
Srinagar, Jul 14 : The security forces on Friday arrested a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district, police said.
The militant, identified as Shahbaz Mir, is a resident of Hajin in north Kashmir. He was arrested from an orchard in Markundal village, the police added.
According to reports acting on a specific input regarding the presence of militant in the area Jammu and Kashmir Police along with 13 RR arrested one LeT outfit militant in an orchards at Markundal Village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on this morning.
Meanwhile officials in police department claim they have also recovered 1 Pistol, one Magazine, one handgrenade, and 04 rounds from his possession.
“A pistol, two magazines and a hand grenade have been recovered from him,” the police said. (KNS)
