SAMBA, DECEMBER 15 – A team of Legal Metrology Department headed by Assistant Controller Legal Metrology Samba conducted extensive checking of various business establishment particularly Kiryana Shops, Sweets shops, Provisional stores , Atta Chakki, Fertilizers Dealers , Bakery shops, Hardware shops, dispensing Units, Manufacturers and Packers and 17 Miles Hotel and Restaurant in different areas of Samba district.
During the inspection, more than 85 traders dealing with different trades were inspected and 18 erring traders were booked for violation of Weights and Measures Act were and penalty of Rs 20600 was imposed during the inspection.
