Man dies after hanging himself in Srinagar
Srinagar, Oct 14, KDC: A 50-year-old man died on Wednesday morning after he hanged himself at his home here in Habakadal area of Srinagar.
A police official told news agency KDC that an elderly man identified as Bashir Ahmad Gojri son of Mohammad Sultan Gojri, a resident of Habakadal area of the city, died after he allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his home.
He said that police have taken cognizance of the incident and set investigations into motion.
“Body of the deceased man will be handed over to his family for last rites after completing medico-legal formalities,” he added. (KDC)
