MAYOR DISTRIBUTES DOMICILE CERTIFICATE
JAMMU; Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation in presence of Sh Vikram Randhawa , EX MLC, Sh Rahul Kumar Councilor of ward no.20 Gandhi Nagar distributed Domicile certificates to Twenty five number of beneficiaries of Balmiki Community in a simple manner at Tehsil office Gadigarh Jammu. S Harjeet Singh Concerned Tehsildar, Sh Bharat Bhushan, BJP Mandal, President Gangyal area, Sh Rinku Gill representative from Balmiki Community Jammu who is also president of Safaikaramchari union of JMC & other Prominent residents of the area were also present during this function Sh Rinku Gill on behalf of Balmiki Samaj thanked the Hon’ble Mayor & his team who are taking keen interest for redressing the long pending issues of downtrodden, poor & deserving persons of various communities who have been deprived of their fundamental rights by the previous Govts. who have ruled in J&K from the last 70 years? Mayor told that under the dynamic & able leadership of Sh Narendra Modi Ji Hon’ble Prime Minister, Sh Amit Shah Ji Hon’ble Home Minister of India, long pending issues of people in terms of Domicile Certificates, abrogation of article 370, 35-A, one nation one ration card and other important matters have been successfully resolved to give due justice to the deserving residents. Moreover a number of mega development projects which have been started by the present Government are either in the pipeline or about to be completed and the Balmiki Samaj, Gorkhas, West Pakistani refugees who were treated as outsiders in J&K are now eligible for getting all the benefits after obtaining domicile certificates in J&K like other parts of India.
Later Mayor along with Sh Dinesh Gupta Councilor of ward no.18, Sh Arun Khanna Councilor of ward no25, Sh Surinder Chowdhary Councilor of ward no.29. Smt. Anu Bali Councilor of ward no.24 also inaugurated a saloon namely Sahib Saloon near police post Sarwal. Smt Sangeeta Gupta Prop. Of the saloon along with her family members and other residents of Sarwal & its adjoining areas were also present during the inauguration function in a simple manner. Owner of the saloon told that this is a unique type of establishment with all the modern, well-sterilized equipment will be used during their routine service to the customers under most hygienic conditions keeping in view the coronavirus pandemic as well. Mayor & other councillors appreciated the initiatives taken by the owner to open such type of saloon in Jammu city for the convenience of the general public.
