ANANTNAG, MARCH 02: To review the measures undertaken for maintaining proper hygiene and upkeep in public utility centres of the district a meeting was convened by Deputy Secretary at CM’s office (Grievance cell), Inam-ul-Haq Siddiqi here today.
The meeting was attended by ACR Anantnag and officers of Health, Education and Urban Development Departments during which threadbare discussions were held on the proper sanitation and cleanliness of the Government hospitals, offices and educational institutions in the district.
It was suggested that a three-member committee headed by Deputy Commissioner Anantnag shall be constituted for proper monitoring of public utilities in the district.
On the occasion, the Deputy Secretary emphasized for proper hygiene and sanitation in the hospitals and other government institutions. He sought cooperation from the district administration and Departments of Social Welfare, Urban Development, Education and Health to ensure cleanliness in and around these institutions.
