SRINAGAR, DEC 17: Member Legislative Council (MLC), Khursheed Aalam, today visited Government Higher Secondary School Nowhatta and Sultan-ul-Aarifeen Wakf Higher Secondary School Kathi Darwaza and took stock of their functioning.
The MLC interacted with students, besides teaching and non-teaching staff at GHS Nowhatta. He was informed that to provide better sports facilities to students an international standard basketball court is being built at a cost of Rs 33 lakh at the School.
Later, he visited Sultan-ul-Arifeen School Kathi Darwaza and interacted with students and teachers about facilities and functioning of the school. He also inspected the school laboratory and said that the Government is committed to provide better educational facilities to the students.
