Stepping up the election campaign in Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency, senior National Conference leaders on Wednesday castigated PDP-BJP government for perpetrating reign of terror on innocent Kashmiris, saying the atrocities being committed remind about the worst barbaric regimes.
“The coalition government has become so intolerant that it is responding to dissent by bullets and brutal force”, the senior leaders said while addressing workers in Batamaloo, Ganderbal and Kangan assembly constituencies.
They said over two year misgovernance of the PDP- BJP is a dark chapter of Jammu and Kashmir, which has witnessed bloodshed on the streets and squares of Kashmir, arrests and slapping of Draconian laws on innocent youth. “The people of the Valley are currently undergoing a nightmarish era”, they said while referring to the killing of three young innocent youth near Chadooora. They said drunk with power, the PDP leaders are deriving sadistic pleasure in watching mayhem and brutality. In their enthusiasm of appeasing the RSS, the PDP has crossed all limits of humanity by making own people fodder of cannons.
Those who addressed the rallies included MLA Mr Ashfaq Jabbar, Mr Irfan Ahmed Shah and Provincial Youth National Conference President Mr Salman Sagar.
