New Delhi, Dec 14: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for entrance to DM/MCh will be held by the 
National Board of Examinations on June 10, 2017.
Exams will be held as a computer-based test and comprise 200 multiple choice questions from the MD/MS curriculum, followed in medical colleges of India, duly prescribed or adopted by Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
NEET-SS is a single window entrance examination for entry to DM/MCh/PDCC courses.
No other examination either at state level or institutional level entrance examination conducted by any University/medical colleges/institutions shall be valid as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 with effect from 2017 admission session.
NEET-SS is a single eligibility cum entrance examination namely ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to Super Specialty Courses’ for the academic session 2017 for DM/MCh/PDCC courses at all Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed Universities across the country and DM/MCh/PDCC courses at Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions.
