Srinagar, July 15: while addressing to a press conference the top police official inspector general of kashmir region muneer Khan said almost 9 police personnels have left to join the millitant ranks .
Adding that everyone who joins Militants will be treated as criminal . This statement was issued by IGP after a recent event of a budgam police man joining millitants.
Policeman Syed Naveed shah who recently deserted police station along with four service Riffles have joined the armed ranks against police . He was recently seen even in the pictures along with the millitants which went viral.
Addressing to civil society members Muneer said cooperation from civils is very important for policing. As there is an increase in number of people fighting against the security forces at the time of encounters.
Responding to a question he said the FIR against the army man who tied the kashmiri person at the bonnet of jeep will not be taken back. He said the investigations are going on.
