Committee of JKNPP constituted with mission
to talk to senior leadership of all J-K parties
A top committee of senior leadership of JKNPP has been constituted so that it shall talk to the senior leadership of all recognized political parties operating in J&K on the latest development which has threatened the fundamental rights which were vested in the Indian citizens in their capacity as Permanent Residents of J&K. The committee has been appointed by a consensus in the JKNPP. This committee has been authorized by the party leadership to talk to the senior leadership of all the political parties in J&K including the recognized political parties in J&K. The committee shall finalize the programme to interact with the political parties functioning in Jammu and Kashmir on the recent development caused by the Central Govt. decision to, 1). Convert the State of J&K into a Union Territory thus attempting to demolish 200 years old statehood of Jammu and Kashmir which was founded by Maharaja Gulab Singh in 1846. The second assault on the integrity of the residents of J&K was the latest order of the Union Govt. headed by Shri Narendra Modi which has demolished the Permanent Residents’ Status of the citizens of India residing in J&K as Permanent Residents under the Law.
The Panthers Party shall also talk to the senior leadership of the political parties including Dr. Karan Singh, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Ms. Mehbooba Mufti and other senior leaders who had a historical role in consolidating the State of J&K ensuring fundamental rights to all permanent residents of J&K.
The ‘State Subject’ was introduced as a birth right of all the permanent residents by a Royal Decree guaranteed by Maharaja Hari Singh in 1927. The elected Assembly of J&K had redefined the ‘State Subject’ as Permanent Residents’ Status. The statehood was demolished and the entire state was reduced to a Union Territory by the Govt. of India headed by Shri Narendra Modi. This was done after the Assembly was dissolved and the state was reduced to a Union Territory under the administration of the President of India.
Another tragedy which permanent residents of J&K met was that their status of permanent resident was also demolished the other day without the approval of the permanent residents of J&K. Even an ordinary revenue officer has been empowered to issue so-called Domicile Certificate to any visitor/temporary resident/employee of the Central Govt. in total violation of fundamental rights of the permanent residents of J&K, the Royal Decree issued by Maharaja Hari Singh guaranteeing permanent birth right to those who were born in J&K.
The committee nominated by the Panthers Party shall include Harsh Dev Singh (Chairman) Balwant Singh Mankotia (President) Masood Andrabi (Vice President), P.K. Ganjoo, Mohd. Iqbal Chowdhary (Vice Presidents), Bansi Lal Sharma, Advocate (Legal Advisor), Ms. Anita Thakur, Mohd. Maqbool Malik, Yashpaul Kundal & Ms. Manju Singh (General Secretaries), Farooq Ahmed Dar (Provincial Secretary-Kashmir), Sardar Paramjit Singh (Leader-Panthers Trade Union) and Bisharat Ali (Secretary-Ex-servicemen).
