PHE Employees United Front unit Bhaderwah holds protest
Bhaderwah, September 26: -A strong protest was held at sub-division office of Jal Shakhti Vibhag Bhaderwah. All the Daily wagers went for 3-day strike, whose call was given by All J&k PHE Employees United Front Jammu. The strike is in whole UT. The protest was lead by Mohd. Sajjad Ganaie Member of United Front Central body, Shahzad Ahmed President at Bhaderwah, Anayat Hussain vice President, Aadil Hussain Gen Secretary, Khushi Mohd. Gen. Secretary, Omar Agar Secretary, Shahid Ali, Ashraf Ali Mir, Nirmal Sharma, Rimpal , Rakesh kumar, Sunil kumar, Mohd. Rafi, Manjeet Singh, kulbeer Singh and others daily wagers.
While speaking on the occasion Mohd. Sajjad said that on Feb. 24 2020 govt claimed that give is some time so that all issues will be settled. The Govt asked at that time that upto 20 April 2020 we will definitely do justice with the Daily wagers but till date nothing has been done. We are warning govt kindly resolve our issues so that we will not go to an extreme extant.
He also said that Land donors are also suffering because of 12 vouchers issue and this issue is only in our district. However, Govt while receiving land for Jal Shakthi from the owners promised that we will provide employment in the department. But instead of that, they were just given a post of daily wagers without wages from many months and they are also suffering.
We are on 3 day strike from now and if our issues will not be addressed that there will be no other option for us, rather than to come on streets with our families and childrens. Govt is be fooling us on each passing day and in results we are suffering and out famlies are also living a hard life.
These are the following issues of ours..
Regularize all Daily wagers.
Implementation of Minimum Wages Act.
Clear all pending wages.
Order for those Daily wagers who are expired.
They also said that we are waiting for our union at Jammu and Srinagar, what they will decide we will follow and accordingly we will proceed further.
