Patna, Jan 05: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today exuded confidence that the 350th ‘Prakash Parva’ of the 10th Guru of Sikh religion Guru Govind Singh would spread message of ‘unity, integrity, brotherhood, social harmony and respect for all religions across the world.’ Addressing at the main event on the concluding day of the ‘Prakash Parva’ at the historic Gandhi Maidan here, Mr Modi said Prakash Parva would also disseminate the message of human values across the world. He exhorted people to imbibe high values of Guru Govind Singh in their lives and move forward with new enthusiasm and energy. Sporting the traditional Kesari headgear, Mr Modi, who started his speech in chaste Punjabi, said the Centre had also made special arrangements for the celebration of the festival across the world through embassies. He said the Centre had allocated Rs 100 crore while the railways spent Rs 40 crore for the construction of railway over bridges for the event here. An additional Rs 40 crore was also allocated to meet the expenses under various heads, he added. Leaving aside his political differences, Mr Modi lauded Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for the elaborate arrangements made for the festival and also for his prohibition drive. “Mr Kumar visited the Gandhi Maidan and supervised all arrangements made for the Prakash Parva himself by delving into full details,” the PM remarked.
