Monitoring Desk,21-Jan; Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said that the National Cadet Corps (NCC) goal is to help the cadets acquire a character that would not only influence their futures but also motivate them to contribute to society. Speaking to NCC officers and cadets at the Republic Day Camp in New Delhi today, Singh noted that the NCC also instils the value of teamwork, which is a hallmark of Indian culture.
Singh also urged the cadets to put into practice the lessons learnt at the camp which would help them perform better in their duty towards the nation. During the event, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also conferred Raksha Mantri Padak and Commendation Cards to the Cadets at NCC Republic Day Camp in Delhi.
