District administration Rajouri on Friday constituted a committee of officers to review and finalize freight charges of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department, here at a meeting.
The meeting was chaired by District Development Commissioner Mohammad Nazir Sheikh and attended by Chief Planning Officer; District Treasury Officer; Chief Education Officer; Executive Engineers of Public Works Department of Rajouri and Nowshera divisions; Assistant Regional Transport Officer and Assistant Director of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department.
The meeting was informed that several new areas have been connected by roads in recent years and the database requires updation to finalise the charges as per the ground situation and the status of road connectivity. To review the same, District Development Commissioner ordered to constitute a committee of officers comprising Additional Deputy Commissioner, Executive Engineers PMGSY division Rajouri /Budhal and Executive Engineer of Public Works Department Rajouri division.
The freight charges shall be finalised on the basis of report to be submitted by the team.
