Rajouri: Cash relief provided to family of deceased PDD employee
RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 19: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal today provided cash relief of Sixty thousand rupees to the family of PDD employee Mohd Saleem resident of Thudi, Jawahar Nagar.
ADC Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh; DSEO, Bilal Rashid Mir and Tehsildar Rajouri, Mehmood Khan were also present on the occasion.
Mohammad Saleem died after suffering severe electric shock a few days ago while on duty. Earlier the victim’s family was provided an immediate relief of Rs 10000 by the District Administration.
Power Care Group (Employees of Power Department) also contributed and helped the family of the victim.
The DDC said that the District Administration Rajouri is with the family of the victim in this tough time and is committed to provide best possible support to it. He also assured to provide a commercial vehicle to the victim’s son under the MUMKIN scheme. He also issued directions to the Executive Engineer, JPDCL to ensure that Protective Gears were provided to the employees working for restoration of Power supply to avoid such loss in future.
The DDC also asked the Assistant Labour Commissioner to immediately register both sons of the victim for availing benefits under various schemes.
