February 14 was a dark day in India, as a terrorist attack claimed the lives of 40 jawans in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama. A suicide bomber belonging to the Pakistan-sponsored terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad rammed an explosive-laden SUV into a bus in the 78-vehicle security convoy. The attack was the deadliest on security forces in decades.
There was widespread grief and many people from several fields did their bit to help out the bereaved families.
