    Retd doctors, private practitioners should volunteer their services to combat Covid pandemic: DAJ

    JAMMU, Sep 26: Doctors Association Jammu (DAJ) urged the doctors retired from government services and private practitioners to volunteer their services to combat the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.

    In a press note issued here today, Dr Balvinder Singh, President of the Association appealed to the general public to have faith in the Health Department and extend highest cooperation while being tested , admitted and discharged from different health institutions. He further requested the retired doctors and private practitioners to extend voluntary services in whatever capacity they can help the present health department.

    The Association has also reviewed the present scenario regarding the recent upsurge of covid19 positive cases across all districts of Jammu division.

    While complementing the Financial Commissioner Health, Atal Dullo to have very efficiently led the department, Dr Balvinder Singh lauded the efforts of health workers in carrying out the toughest job by being at the forefront of this great fight. He praised the overall efforts of the Health Department working in tandem as the greatest team in this hour of crises.

    Appealing the general public of entire Jammu division, Dr Manjeet Singh, General Secretary of the Association  said that it’s a long battle and may take few more months in combating this situation and cautioned all to strictly follow the advisories issued by the govt from time to time, like social distancing and wearing proper masks.
