Leaving Behind  Lucrative Job and Lifestyle.

Doda::Director ‘Haji Public School Breswana (Doda) ‘ Mtr Sabbah Haji preferred to serve the people of remote and backward areas of Chenab Valley in general and Doda district in particular.  She is educating the children of poor family backgrounds of the area.
Inspired by the idea of social service and supported by her parents and family she took the initiative in 2009 and started an educational institution  at her ancestral village Breswana which is the remotest village of District Doda still without motorable road connectivity and other basic facilities.
Since then she continues to provide quality education to students of poor families of the area.
Sabbah Haji gave up a lucrative job and lifestyle in Dubai and Bangalore and returned to her native village with an innovative idea of educating the rural population at par with the world class private institutions  in the country .
She has established state of the art infrastructure and hires the services of highly qualified and experienced teachers to ensure the all round development of the students enrolled there. At present more than 500 students are enrolled in the institution, covering more than 30 villages in the remote mountains.
In an interview to  News Agency  Doda, Sabbah Haji said that she believes in simple living and high thinking.  She wants to see the youth of her native village and adjoining areas be able to compete at a global level and thus is committed to holistic and all round development of the students of Haji Public School. She however expressed anguish over the policies and attitude of the administration and Education Department saying that the students of Haji Public School have so far not been given an opportunity to participate in various extracurricular activities whatsoever organized at zonal or distric level, in the eleven years since her school has been running.
She feels content and happy to be at her native village, moulding the character and shaping the lives of hundreds of young boys and girls of the area who would otherwise have been deprived of the basic facilities to learn and grow up as good citizens, simply due to their geography and consequent lack of basic infrastructure and other facilities.
It is worthwhile to mention here that to set up a hight-tech educational institution in this remote area is not an easy job and requires a lot of resources, dedication and will power. Sabbah Haji has proven herself to be a facilitator and mentor in this regard.
