Bandipora, May 04: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed on Wednesday visited Yatra Transit Camp at Shadipora Sumbal to review the arrangements and other facilities for pilgrims of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY)-2023.
Dr. Owais, on the occasion, inspected the upgraded facilities for the convenience of the stay of yatries during the SAJY-2023.
The DC was informed that all necessary arrangements, including facilities of drinking water and electricity, etc, at Yatra Transit Camp have been put in advance besides the deployment of sufficient staff at the camp.
Dr. Owais also inspected other completed works at the transit camp, including langar facility, prefabricated huts, etc, and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements put in place.
He stressed upon the concerned to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene, and medical facilities at transit camp round the clock.
Dr Owais directed the concerned agencies for macadamization of the inner links with the camp timely.
Sumbal, Aamir Choudhary, SE R&B Ganderbal/Bandipora, Tehsildar Sumbal, Executive Engineers, SHO Sumbal, and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
