Jammu 14 june:All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations J&K share the deep grief and sympathise passing away of Smt Ajit Kour on 13.06.2023 at her residence in Chandigarh. Smt Ajit Kour lived an active life till her last breath at the age of 93. She was cremated today at Chandigarh. She was the wife & companion of Sh KC Sulekh(96)who has worked with Dr Ambedkar since 1942 and wrote many books about his experience with Dr. Ambedkar Sahib & even presented in Parliament House to listen Baba Sahib on 25 Nov.1949 and accompany in the same car with Baba Sahib from Delhi to Punjab in 1951.
Ajit Kour being a life partner always supported Sulekh Sahib and always encouraged him for devotion towards social justice movement. KC Sulekh married Smt Ajit Kour in 1945 after one year of his matriculation. It was their 79th year of married life.
