Kishtwar, Feb 04: People’s Democratic Party District President Kishtwar ,Sheikh Nasir Hussain has extended his thanks to the Honb’le Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti sahiba for once again raising the long pending demand for early construction of Singapore-Vailoo tunnel before the Union Minister, Nitin Gadkari.
In a statement he on behalf of all party workers of both constituencies including Inderwal and Kishtwar has extended sincere thanks to CM Mehbooba Mufti for taking seriously the construction of said tunnel.
He said the Singpora-Vailoo tunnel would connect people of Jammu region including Chenab Valley with the Kashmir region and shorten the distance , he said.
“This connectivity would promote thevtrade and tourism sector of the district Kishtwar which also helps to Chenab region even the students community of our districts would take direct benefit of schools, Colleges and universities of Kashmir province “,he expressed.
Expressing his sincere gratitude towards Chief Minister of the Jammu and Kashmir state, Mehbooba Mufti ,he said that the construction of Singhpora-Vailoo tunnel connecting twin districts of Doda and Kishtwar with Valley, would certainly help the people of the area in their socio-economic development.
He said that sanctioning prestigious project, which would also serve as an all weather link of Jammu province with Kashmir Valley and after its completion the living conditions of this most backward area of the State would mark improvement towards development.
