Samba, 11-Jan:In his very first meeting with the Additional SP, SDPOs, SHOs and I/C PPs of district Samba, Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh today directed all the officers to provide public- oriented policing with sincere and honest approach in their respective jurisdictions.
While imparting instructions to the officers, newly posted SSP Samba said that Police officers, being public servants, should take pride in serving the people in accordance with their expectations and should make all-out efforts to free the society from drug abuse, crime and terror.
Benam Tosh further directed that henceforth concerned Gazetted Supervisory Officers /SDPOs shall personally visit the Scene of Crime (SoC) in specially reported cases and place of occurrence of any untoward incident immediately along with concerned SHOs and shall issue necessary guidelines on the spot to the investigating team with copy to higher ups. Moreover, the concerned SHOs shall ensure that maximum possible evidences are collected within twenty four hours of the incident and perpetrators of crimes are apprehended immediately, SSP further directed.
