STITCHING & DISTRIBUTION OF FACE MASKS AT FAISALABAD

Indian Army under Op Sadbhavana project of 2019 had got trained 86 women of village Faislabad in Stitching and Tailoring. To further its initiative towards self-employment, 15 women were selected and given project of stitching face masks to utilised their skills against the pandemic Corona Virus and give them a livelihood in times when there are very fewer employment opportunities. This initiative not only generated employment for these women staying in a backward area but also gave an opportunity to these women to display their skill and earn a livelihood for themselves and support their families. This event was also followed by the distribution of these masks amongst the locals. This initiative of the Indian Army was highly appreciated by the locals, the beneficiary women and their families
