Raipur, Feb 11 : In a bid to promote tourism especially MICE in the state, the officials related to the tourism sector held a meeting Chamber and Commerce Raipur in Chattisgarh Raipur.
The officials said that the holding meeting with different industrialists and others was aimed o boost tourism particularly MICE tourism in the state.
Talking to KNS, Director SKICC, Yasmeen Khan said, “They held meeting with Chamber and Commerce Raipur and interacted with the people regarding MICE tourism in the Jammu and Kashmir.”
She said that the meeting with travel agents was also organized during which they gave a positive response regarding the tourism in JK.
Saying that the Raipur is hub of maximum industries, she added, “We went to Raipur to boost tourism in the state as the place is the hub of industries.”
She said that before organizing meetings in Raipur, they went to Delhi for travel show exclusively for MICE tourism.
“The Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and commissioner Secretary are leaving no stone unturned to boost the tourism in the state,” she said, adding that several such programmes were arranged in previous and would continue in future as well.
Meanwhile, Dir SKICC said that the people in Raipur welcomed them with huge round of applause and gave a positive response to them. (KNS)
