Udhampur Police recovers kidnapped girl, accused arrested

Udhampur: Udhampur Police recovered a kidnapped girl who is a resident of Jandrari, Ramnagar and had been missing since July 25. Based on the report of one person namely Ashok R/O Jandrari that his daughter had been missing from home since  July 25,2020, a Case FIR No. 84/2020 U/S 363 IPC was lodged in the records of PS Ramnagar. Due to sustained efforts and due diligence of police party of PS Ramnagar headed by SDPO Ramnagar GR Bhardwaj and SHO PS Ramnagar Jaswinder Singh raids were conducted at different suspected locations utilizing human and technical intelligence as the accused kept on shifting their places. Based on reliable input police team of PS Ramnagar saved the kidnapped girl from the kidnapper namely Ankush Kumar S/O MadanLal R/O Dalsar, Ramnagar from Kanah area of Ramnagar. The accused person was arrested on spot and kidnapped girl was safely brought back to PS Ramnagar and handed over the girl to her family after legal procedure.
