UDHAMPUR, 09 May: An information was received through locals at P/S Ramnagar about three persons of one family namely Madan Lal S/O Prem Nath, Nisha Devi W/O Madan Lal, Varun Sharma S/O Madan Lal Age 8 yrs. R/O W.No. 08 Village and Panchayat Dehari trapped in the flash flood in the river at Dehari, Ramnagar.
On this Police team of P/S Ramnagar led by SDPO Ramnagar Dr. Bhishm Dubey and SHO PS Udhampur Insp. Kulbir Singh Choudhary without wasting time reached the spot, and launched a rescue operation with the help of locals of the area, Sarpanch Sunil Sharma and Swaran Singh and rescued all the three persons including women and child.
The villagers thanked Udhampur Police for the timely help.
