New Delhi, June 13: India cricket team captain Virat Kohli is a popular figure in the world cricket. More than a player, he has developed into an influential role model for his overall winning personality. And guess what, India’s neighbouring country; Pakistan is also quite packed with their own Kohli lookalikes. After coming across a doppelganger of Team India skipper in 2015, Pakistan springs up another surprising Virat Kohli lookalike. And this person bearing an uncanny similarity with Virat Kohli was spotted working at Domino’s Pizza outlet in Shaheed-e-Milat. The video posted on a Facebook page named Just Pakistani Things went super viral in a matter of short span and garnered over 178K views with over 1700 shares.
Virat Kohli led India recently outlasted Sarfraz Ahmed captained Pakistan in 2017 ICC Champions Trophy held in England. The Men in Blue beat their arch-rivals in by 124 runs but looks like the fans in Pakistan are managing some consolation smiles courtesy a video which surfaced on the social media just a few days ago. The video posted by a Snapchat user captured an individual working at a pizza outlet. Well, he seemed no ordinary pizza making guy but bore a striking resemblance with star Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli. He had the same beard and brooding look and smile like that of the handsome cricketer from Delhi. No wonder, Pakistani fans cannot stop grinning from ear to ear.
This is not the first time we see Pakistan’s obsession with the Indian run machine. Remember, how they were obsessed with calling their opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad as Kohli’s lookalike for the longest time. In 2015, pictures of a man wearing Pakistan jersey with almost Kohli’s face started doing the rounds on the social media. And now this pizza boy is our neighbour’s best bet of having a Virat Kohli in their country.
Meanwhile, both India and Pakistan have qualified for the semifinals of 2017 Champions Trophy. The defending champions, India will play Bangladesh on June 15 in Edgbaston while Pakistan will take on hosts England on June 14 in Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. The finals will be played on June 18 in The Oval. It is going to be exciting to see if Team India manages to retain the trophy with Virat Kohli lifting his first ever big tournament win trophy.
