YRS organises “Safayi Abhiyan” at Maharaja Hari Singh statue
Jammu, Sept 21: Today Yuva Rajput Sabha ( YRS) organises safai Abhiyan at Maharaja Hari Singh ji statue at Tawi Bridge. Surinder Singh Gilli, President Yuva Rajput Sabha strongly condemn Jammu Municipal Corporation and administration of Jammu and Kashmir UT that they didn’t even look after statue of Maharaja Hari Singh ji.
Surinder Singh Gilli said that this year work of Jammu Municipal Corporation was one of the worst year i have ever seen in my life. As there is worst condition of adjoining areas of statue and of statue of Maharaja Hari singh Ji at Tawi Bridge.
Gilli further added that lighting poles are broken near to statue, tiles are broken, tiles of statues are broken, trees grown up on the statue, bad condition of the statue been done by Jammu Municipal Corporation as no look after been done by JMC, as this is the work of Jammu Municipal Corporation for to maintain statue and adjoining areas of statues but no maintenance been done by JMC.
Gilli further added that Jammu Municipal Corporation and administration of Jammu and Kashmir UT should ashamed themselves of their act for to ignore Maharaja Hari Singh ji and they said that we are the followers of Dogras and live for Dogras, and JMC must maintain the statue of Maharaja Hari Singh ji and if JMC and current Govt. are not able to maintain statue then they must handover the maintenance work to Yuva Rajput Sabha and we maintain statue from our pocket,” said Gilli.
